Place of the lighthouse

Crammag Head Lighthouse is situated south of Stranraer, near to the Mull of Galloway. There has been a lighthouse on Crammag Head since 1913. The new lighthouse became operational in December 2009. The light tower is 7 metres high and the light has an elevation of 35 metres and a range of 18 miles.
